Overview
MonoHelp ("we", "our", or "the service") is a customer support inbox tool for software founders. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have over it. We keep this simple because we believe you deserve to actually understand it.
What we collect
- Account information — your email address and name, provided at sign-up via Clerk.
- Support ticket data — emails routed through your MonoHelp inbound address, including sender email, subject, and body text. This is the core data the product processes.
- Knowledge base content — documentation you upload or link to, used to generate AI draft replies.
- Billing information — handled entirely by Stripe. We store only your Stripe customer ID. We never see or store card numbers.
- Usage data — ticket counts, plan limits, and feature usage for billing and service operation.
How we use your data
- To provide the core product — routing, triaging, and drafting replies to support tickets.
- To send transactional emails — trial expiry notices, billing receipts, invite emails.
- To enforce plan limits and process billing through Stripe.
- To improve the service — anonymised usage metrics only. We do not use your ticket data or customer emails to train AI models.
AI processing
Support ticket content is sent to Anthropic's Claude API for triage and draft generation. Anthropic's API usage policy applies to this data. We do not use your data to fine-tune or train any AI models, and we do not share ticket content with any other third parties for AI processing.
Data isolation
Every MonoHelp organisation is fully isolated. Your tickets, knowledge base content, and customer data are never accessible to other MonoHelp customers. All data is scoped to your organisation at the database level.
Data retention
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you cancel and delete your account, your tickets and knowledge base content will be deleted within 30 days. Billing records may be retained longer as required by law.
Third-party services
- Clerk — authentication and user management.
- Supabase — database and storage, hosted in the US.
- Resend — email sending and receiving.
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Anthropic — AI triage and draft generation via the Claude API.
- Vercel — hosting and infrastructure.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, ask us to delete your account and associated data, or ask questions about how your data is processed at any time by emailing hello@monohelp.com.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email before they take effect. The "last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
