GiblinX Linux

This distro is often lauded for its visual appeal and attention to artwork, themes, and wallpapers. GoblinX Standard is available as a portable Live CD, which contains the original distribution. However, users may wish to purchase the Premium version which contains "a very large source of applications and features." The Mini Edition only includes XFCE as the windows manager and GTK/GTK2-based apps. Mini is intended for users who "want to remaster the distro and also those with difficulties [downloading] more than three hundred... megabytes." GoblinX Micro contains only Fluxbox and GTK/GTK2-based apps, and is intended for a specific sub-set of Linux users

GoblinX is a Live-CD that is based on the excellent Slackware, developed and maintained by Flavio de Oliveira a.k.a Grobsch and created by using Linuxlive scripts.

It is directed towards those users whose appreciate quality applications and a workspace that is both practical and beautiful. It contains some of the most often used and praised applications for Linux, a completely operational Linux system inside a single CD-ROM, runs from any CD-ROM drive without requiring the installation and can be easily costumized by everyone. It also can be used inside a Pendrive or other bootable device.

You can carry your favorite system around the world, to every place you like, because distributions in live-cd bootable format allow the user to take its own operational system to all places. You will be able to carry and use it in any computer, either in house, school, workstation or friends.

You can count on quality works, beautiful graphics and artistic features, since the beginning of the boot which employs a graphical boot called bootsplash, and if you wish to see the inner workings messages of the kernel (system) while is booting just press F2, and the boot messages will be displayed.

You can also use inside your usb pendrive FAT32 formatted and also save all settings and changed files while using it.
